Handled daily office activity processing student loans and counseling students. I maintained the
financial aid website using Dreamweaver and the content management system. I instituted debt
repayment counseling and financial responsibility seminars for students. I redesigned the website
content to include aid calculators, podcasts and a scholarship database.

Researched the use of podcasting in a higher education environment and the effectiveness of wiki
use in university departments. I provided training seminars regarding Adobe Captivate and Google
Apps (Mail, Documents, Sites and Calendars). I offered attendees their choice of computer based
tutorials, in-person training and/or written directions to best address their individual learning style.
I created an audio campus tour to allow prospective students to tour the campus at their leisure.

Completed basic data entry functions and file maintenance. I instituted documenting procedures
for financial aid department functions. I organized monthly training seminars for the financial aid
department regarding policy changes and topic refreshers. I created the one-on-one financial aid
counseling sessions held during new student orientation, which address any confusion regarding
financial aid, as well as to curb the number of students who withdrawal due to financial implications
during their first semester.

ment arrangements. I developed training information for new counselors, revised orientation mate-
rials to better inform students and created financial management seminars for the diverse student
